Privacy
A plain information website with no accounts, no basket, and no advertising trackers. There is not much to explain.
This website
We set no cookies. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, and no embedded social media. The enquiry form transmits nothing on its own: it opens your email program with the message written out, and you decide whether to send it.
Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs containing IP address, requested page, and timestamp. They exist to keep the site running and to investigate abuse, and are deleted on the provider's standard schedule.
When you contact us
We keep what you tell us: name, contact details, dates, and any requirements such as dietary needs or access. We use it to answer you and to look after you during a stay.
Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to twenty-four months. Stay records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Nothing is sold, rented, or shared for marketing, and nobody is added to a mailing list.
Payment and identification
No payment details are collected on this website. Payment is taken at reception in person, through our bank's terminal, and we never see or store full card numbers.
Identification shown at the card room door is checked by eye and returned immediately. It is never photographed, scanned, copied, or entered into any system.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Ask us to correct anything wrong.
- Ask us to delete it, subject to legal record-keeping.
- Object to a particular use, or ask us to restrict it.
- Complain to your national data protection authority.
Write to guest services and we reply within thirty days.
Changes
Any change to this notice changes the date at the top. Significant changes are also flagged on the enquiry page for a month.
